Types of submission
The conference invites four types of submission: regular papers, position papers, and special-session papers (regular and position).
Regular Papers
Authors will normally submit their work as regular papers, which should provide complete descriptions of finished work. Regular papers accepted for oral or poster presentation at the conference will be included in the pre-conference proceedings and the final proceedings, and will be published in the IEEE Xplore database. A regular paper is limited to six (6) double-column pages in its final version. At initial submission, authors of regular papers must select the "Regular Paper" submission type.
Position Papers
Authors may also have an option to submit position papers on preliminary work. Position papers accepted for presentation at the conference will be included in the pre-conference proceedings, but will be omitted from the final proceedings and will not be published. A position paper is limited to six (6) double-column pages in its final version. At initial submission, authors of position papers must select the "Position Paper" submission type.
Special-Session Papers
Special sessions will be organized to present work that surround unified themes. Authors who accept invitations from organizers of special sessions may submit their work as either regular or position papers. Each special session is assigned to a Session ID. At initial submission, authors of special-session papers must choose either "Special-session regular paper" or "Special-session position paper".
